VILLAGE OF DEPOSIT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deposit on December 10, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 61 Front Street, in said Village, regarding the adoption of Local Law No. 3 of the Village of Deposit for the year 2025-26, entitled “A Local Law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law §3-c.” A copy of the proposed Local Law is on file and may be examined in the office of the Village Clerk.

Persons with disabilities, who require assistance in attending said public hearing, or in furnishing comments and suggestions, should contact the undersigned to request such assistance. Communications in writing regarding the local law may be filed with the Village Board or at such public hearing.

LEGAL NOTICE Notice of Public Hearing for CDBG 323 CP 137-23 $50,000 Village of Deposit The Village of Deposit will hold a public hearing on November 12 at 7PM at 61 Front Street Deposit, NY for the purpose of hearing public comments on the Water System Evaluation current Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project: CDBG 323 CP 137-23 $50,000. The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal (OCR), and provides resources to eligible local governments for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefitting low/moderate income persons. The hearing will provide further information about the progress of the ongoing CDBG project. Comments related to the effectiveness of administration of the CDBG project will also be received at this time. The hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. The Village Hall at 61 Front Street, Deposit NY 13754 is accessible to persons with disabilities. If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments, or those in need of translation from English, those individuals should contact Clerk Treasurer Karen Budine at least one week in advance of the hearing date to allow for necessary arrangements.
